Volleyball your way Programme takes on African Flavour in April

Cairo, Egypt, May 12, 2016 - The FIVB's development programme featured seven Volleyball Your Way (VBYW) courses and 10 coaches courses and technical seminars in April.

The month included six VBYW courses in African countries and one in Armenia. FIVB instructors also travelled to 10 different countries to lead coaches courses and technical seminars, including Senegal in Africa, Bahrain, India, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates in Asia, Barbados and St. Lucia in the Caribbean, Mexico in North America and Argentina in South America.

The Volleyball Your Way course programme focuses on teaching the basics of volleyball to children and youth. The key target groups are teachers and grassroots coaches. The FIVB's coaches courses and technical seminars, however, are aimed at more advanced participants, including coaches wishing to develop their knowledge of training techniques.
