Speaking at the ceremony Vice President of the Federation Bai Dodou Jallow thanked the Members of the Federation for their Dedication and commitment during the program. "We had come a long way in the administration of the game in the Gambia and the support of the executive is unprecedented he told the participants," Jallow reaffirmed the executives continuous support to the development of the sport in the country.


Lamin Jammeh Secretary General, address on the importance of capacity building, he described the course as historic for this is the first time in the Gambia.  "I am sure you all had learned new things about beach volleyball, therefore I am sure the next beach volleyball  national championship would be competitive." Jammeh stated.


Course Instructor Johann Huber,  joined in thanking the participants for dedicating their time and effort to join the program.  "I am sure if this trend continues Gambia will be the driving force behind beach volleyball in mainland Africa," Huber said. The FIVB instructor concluded with the phrase ''Tokyo Olympics 2020 Gambia Kaanaleh''.


The President of Gambia Volleyball Federation Yunusa Barry,  who is on a one year leave, also grace the occasion.
