A record of 28 teams registered to 2017 Men's African Club Championship

 Cairo, Egypt, February 25, 2017- The 2017 Men's African Club Championship featured a new record of 28 registered teams to participate in the competition due to stat in the Tunisian Capital 17 to 27 March, 2017.

 

 The Men's club championship is considered the optimum volleyball competition in Africa as it attracted 24 teams in the last editions in 2015 and 2016.

 

 The 2016 edition of Men's African Club Championship  

 

 The African Volleyball Confederation made the priority to the teams who send their teams lists, Participation fees and the travel details ahead of the competition to confirm a maximum of 24 teams at the finals.

 

 The registered teams include most of the previous champions led by the record holders Ahly of Egypt who have 11 titles under their name and Tunisia's Sfax who gained 6 titles. Among other favourites are Esperance of Tunisia (4 titles) and their arch rivals Etoile du Sahel (2 titles).
