Elwani opens CAVB Grand Refereeing Seminar

Tunis, Tunisia, March 15, 2017- CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani opened the Grand Refereeing Seminar on Tuesday in attendance of 76 referees from the different African Zones prior to the 2017 Men's African Club Championship due to start in the Tunisian capital of Tunis on March 17.


 In his opening speech, Elwani urged the referees to do their best to improve their performance after the dramatic increase in number of African referees in the last few years.


 "We are happy to see this big number of attending referees and I hope they will exchange their experiences during this seminar. This kind of meetings is essential to improve our referees in their way to increase their representation in the world class competitions." He added


The seminar was attended by CAVB Refereeing Commission President Hassan Ahmed, CAVB Vice President Mounir Bensilmane, Tunisia VB Fed President Feras El Faleh, CAVB Executive director Howyda Mondy and all the Refereeing Commission members.
