CAVB Refereeing Seminar opened in Cairo

 Cairo, Egypt, March 24, 2018- The 2018 Refereeing Seminar open on Saturday in presence of CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani, Refereeing Commission President Hassan Ahmed and the whole Refereeing Commission members.


 The 2-day seminar began by a welcome speech from Dr Elwani who appreciated the 80 attending referees for the great work they did in African and international championships.


 "We are happy to see this successful event for the fifth year in a raw preceding one of the most successful African events, the Men's African Club Championship," CAVB President commented.


 "We need each referee to exchange their knowledge together and consequently each of the 80 attending referees to conduct this experience with their local referees in their country," He added.


 CAVB Refereeing commission President Hassan Ahmed thanked Elwani for his support to hold the meeting annually and thus there was a great progress in African refereeing at all levels specially having a record of female referees in the last few years compared with the other confederations.


 The first session of the seminar started by introduction of each referee for him- herself and a short brief of his activity in 2017-2018 season.
