13 countries compete for 5 World Championship vacancies

2018 CAVB U19 Beach Volleyball Cup

 

 

 Cairo, Egypt, April 18, 2018- Thirteen Countries will take part in the 2018 Men and Women U19 Beach VB Cup due to take place in Congo DR April 20 to 22, 2018, competing for 5 slots in the FIVB World Championship of this age group.

 

 The participating counties are Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo DR, Congo Brazzaville, Rwanda, Egypt, Sudan, South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana.

 

 The teams will be divided into 4 preliminary pools during the drawing of lots due to be held in Kinshasa on Thursday.

 

 The top five teams at the end of the competition will book their tickets to the 2018 FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball World Championship in Nanjing, China July 2018. Teams ranked 5 to 9 at the end of the competition will have places in the FIVB WCH Qualification Draw.  

 

 Participating players should be born January 1st, 2000 or later.
