Four teams compete for Youth African Games tickets in Zone 5

Kampala, Uganda, May 22, 2018- More than 140 volleyball players from 4 nations will compete for qualification for the Zone V Africa Youth Games, Algeria 2018, when they take part in the qualifiers hosted by Uganda Volleyball Federation qualifiers from 24 to 26 May, 2018 in Kampala, Uganda.

 

Winners of the regional qualifier will earn a ticket to represent Zone V at the 3rd African Youth Games in Algeria.

 

Egypt, Kenya, Rwanda and hosts, Uganda, will field both boys and girls in the championship to be played at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium. Sudan already have sent their withdrawal from the competition.

 

The Continental Games to be held in Algiers, Algeria from 17th to 27th July, 2018, shall include a total of 8 teams to be determined through the seven zonal qualifiers plus the organisers.

 

Tunisia Boys and Girls already qualified from Zone 1, Nigeria Boys and Girls booked zone 3 tickets, while Cameroun boys, and Girls will represent Zone 4.
