Drawing of lots for Volleyball of Youth African Games competition completed

Cairo, Egypt, June 13, 2018- The Drawing of lots for the volleyball competition at the 2018 All Africa Games was done during the Sports Organising Committee meeting in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday in presence of CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani and the commission members.  


 The 8 teams in both genders who qualified to the finals were divided into 2 pools of 4.


 In the Boys' competition Algeria head Pool A along with Cameroon, Egypt and Botswana in a tough face off between the continental giants. In Pool B Tunisia lineup against Nigeria, Gambia and Madagascar in a provisionally weaker pool.


 In the Girls' competition Hosts Algeria were drawn in Pool A with Kenya, Nigeria and DR Congo, while Cameroon battle it out against Tunisia, Egypt and Botswana in Pool B.


 The finals of Youth African Games will be hosted in Algeria 17 to 27 July, 2018
