Rwanda complete the semifinal line up at Men's U21

2018 Men's U21 African Nations Championship- Day 3

 

 

 Abuja, Nigeria, September 14, 2018- The regular dark horses Rwanda completed the semifinal line up at the 2018 Men's U21 African Nations Championship following their exciting victory over Cameroon 3-2 (25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 22-25, 15-12) on day 3 of competition held in Abuja, Nigeria on Friday to join the already qualified Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco.

 

 Rwanda improved their win loss ratio to 2-1 at the end of the preliminary round to finish in the second place of Pool A. Tunisia led the pool with a third victory over Nigeria 3-0 (25-17, 32-30, 25-16) to finish with a perfect 3-0 record.

 

 In Pool B Egypt led after a third victory over Morocco 3-1 (25-13, 18-25, 25-20, 25-14), but the losers qualify to the semifinal as second of the pool. RDC upset Chad 3-1 (25-23, 13-25, 25-21, 25-14) in the last match of the first round.

 

Tunisia face Morocco on Sunday in the first semifinal, Rwanda line up against Egypt in the second semis.
