Algeria overwhelm Morocco at Men's African U21 to confirm world Championship ticket

2015 Men's U21 African Nations Championship- Day 2

 

 

 Cairo, Egypt, February 28, 2015- Algeria pull off an important victory against Morocco 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-15) in day two of the 2015 Men's U21 African Nations Championship held at Eastern Company Hall in Cairo, Egypt on Saturday.

 

 Algeria along with Egypt who were in a rest day confirmed their qualification tickets to the World Championship after both teams beat Morocco who finished their matches with 0-2 record.

 

 The winner and runner up of these finals book their tickets to the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship in Tijuana and Mexicali, Mexico from September 11-20, 2015.

 

 Morocco had a successful start as they used their dominance by the net to win the first set 25-20. Algeria rebounded back starting from the second set and used their efficient spike service and the skillfull combinations to win three successive sets.

 

The third and final day will show a thrilling final between Egypt and Algeria on Sunday
