2015 Women's U20 African Nations Championship



 Cairo, Egypt, March 1, 2015- Egypt outside hitter Sarah Amin was selected as Women U20 African Nations Championship Most Valuable Player "MVP" for her great performance helping her team to gain the 6th in row cup at this age category during the competition concluded in Cairo, Egypt this week.


 Sarah is well known of her persistent and stable performance since she started her Volleyball career when she was 10 years old at El Shams Club in Cairo.


 She started in mini volley team in her club and her passion in the matches attracted all Egyptian age group coaches to select her within their teams in the last 4 years. She was selected to the Egyptian U18 team while she was only 14 and continued with them till she won the African Championship in 2013. There after she led the same team in the FIVB Girls' U18 World Championship in Thailand.


 In 2014 she conducted the Egyptian team to win the first ever Gold medal at the Youth All Africa games in Botswana before she again was selected by the Egyptian Women U20 coach Wagih Hamdy to the team that won lately the African championship.  


Egypt women U20 claimed their sixth in row Women's U20 African championship title after they beat Kenya 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-17) in the final match on Sunday.


 This is the sixth title for the Egyptians in this age group after 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012 to improve their all time record.
