Algeria Men through to AAG after Tunisia withdrawal

Bordj Bou Arreridj, Algeria, May 20, 2015- Algeria Men's Volleyball team Joined their women's counterparts to the 2015 All Africa Games finals after withdrawal of Tunisia team form zone 1 qualifiers set to be held this week in Bourj Bou Arreridj, Algeria.


Now Algeria booked a ticket to the prestigious All Africa Games finals slated in Congo Brazzaville in September 4-19.


The Tunisian team who put an eye to the coming Men's African Nations Championship in Egypt next July want to concentrate on the qualification to the FIVB World Cup through this competition, so they withdraw from All Africa Games Qualifiers.  


 Seychelles from Zone 7 also confirmed their ticket to All Africa Games as the only candidate from this zone.


 Now Algeria, the qualifier from zone 1 will be joined by Cape Verde, Gambia (Zone 2), Nigeria, Ghana (Zone 3), Cameroon, hosts Congo Brazzaville (Zone 4), Rwanda, Egypt (Zone 5), Mozambique, Botswana (Zone 6) and Seychelles (Zone 7).


 The finals of All Africa Games feature 12 teams in both Men's and Women's genders, which are a team from zones 1 and 7, beside 2 teams from the other zones 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
