2015 All Africa Games- Beach Volleyball



Brazzaville, Congo, September 7, 2015-  Everything become ready for a wonderful Beach Volleyball event at the 2015 All Africa Games which will take place in the new Kintele Stadium in Brazzaville, Congo on September 9 to 15, 2015.


 The CAVB Control Committee inspected the venue on Monday to check all the facilities or the remarkable event including the three main courts for the competition matches and the two training courts.


 The Centre court with its 1000 seats becomes ready to host the matches with a background of Congolese music beats. it is located at the entrance of the Palais des Sports which witnessed the ground breaking opening Ceremony last Friday.


 The Beach Volleyball competition in Congo will be the second to be scheduled in the prestigious multisport games after the sport entered the programme in Mozambique 2011.  The second beach Volleyball edition features 18 Men and 17 Women teams from 20 African countries.


 The competition referee delegates conducted the official clinic national scorers and Line judges. Inspection of the court equipment were made in preparation for the official opening of the competition on Wednesday.


The official International Refereeing Clinic will be held on Tuesday, where the 2 referees delegates will be joined by the top 12 referees designated by the CAVB from across the continent in the main seminar.


 The technical meeting of the competition will be held on Tuesday attended by CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani, followed by a test match at 4pm where Zimbabwe, South Africa will the 2 two teams warming up the court.
