2016 Women's African Club Championship

 

Tunis, Tunisia, April 21, 2016- Defending champions Ahly of Egypt face their north African neighbours Algeria's Wilaya Bejaia in the opening day of 2016 Women's African Club Championship, while heavy favourites Pipeline of Kenya play Ghana's Police on Friday.   

 

The competition features 17 teams who will compete for the prestigious African title. the participating teams were divided into 4 preliminary pools during the drawing of lots done on Thursday in presence of CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani, Tunisia Volleyball President Mounir Benslimane and CAVB first vice president Mory Keita.
