Prisons and Ahly set second win at Women's African club Championship

Tunis, Tunisia, April 23, 2016- Five time African champions Prisons and defending champions Ahly set the second victory in 2 matches as the second day of the 2016 Women's African Club Championship came to close in the Tunis, Tunisia on Saturday. 

 

 In Pool D, Kenya Prisons who represented Africa 4 times at the World Championship downed Jos South of Nigeria 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-8) to improve to a win- loss ratio off 2-0, while the Nigerian team dropped to 0-1.

 

 Ahly fought for more than 2 hours to overcome the fighting Sfax team of Tunisia 3-1 (25-17, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23) in Pool B to improve to 2-0, while Sfax dropped to 1-1.

 

 In pool A Rwandan Revenue beat Machaal Bejaia of Algeria 3-1 (25-21, 25-19, 17-25, 25-18). The Rwandan team improved their record to 1-1, while the Algerians dropped to 0-1 in their first match.  

 

 2014 champions GSP of Algeria crushed FAP of Cameroon 3-0 (25-23, 25-11,25-10) to start their campaign with 1-0 in Pool C. 

 

 In another Pool D match Injis of Cameroon beat Ndella of Gabon 3-0 (25-13, 25-4, 25-18). Injis improved to 1-1, while the Gabonese team dropped to 0-2
