Carthage, Pipeline and Shams remain unbeaten at Women's African Club Championship

2016 Women's African Club Championship- Day 3

 

 

Tunis, Tunisia, April 24, 2016- Organisers Carthage of Tunisia, Kenya Pipeline and Shams of Egypt completed the teams that remain unbeaten in 2 matches after day 3 of the 2016 Women's African Club Championship in Tunis, Tunisia on Sunday. 

 

 The hosts beat Rwandan Revenue Authority 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-7) in Pool A, while 7 time champions pipeline fought for 148 minutes Marathon to overcome the 2014 champions GSP of Algeria 3-2 (22-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 15-12) in Pool C.

 

 El Shams of Egypt hammered Cameroon's Injis 3-0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-21) in Pool D.

 

 In the other encounters Mashaal Bejaia of Algeria thrills the spectators with another epic tiebreak victory over Ndejje of Uganda 3-2 (25-19, 21-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-11) in Pool A. Wilaya Bejaia of Algeria upset Bafia of Cameroon 3-0 (25-29, 25-29, 25-17) in Pool B.

 

 Pool B featured also the first win for Nigeria's Jos South over Ndella of Gabon 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-13).

 

Carthage led pool A, while Ahly topped pool B and Pipeline controlled Pool C. Shams and Kenya Prisons equally dominate Pool D.
