Tunisia, Morocco, Angola and Sierra Leone to fight for Rio ticket at Men's Continental Cup

2016 CAVB Men's Continental Cup- Day 3

 

 Kelibia, Tunisia, May 7, 2016- Host Tunisia, dark horses Morocco, Sierra Leone and Angola booked semifinal tickets at the 2016 CAVB Men's Continental Cup after they finished at the top 2 places in each of the 2 preliminary Pools after Day 3 of the competition held in Kelibia, Tunisia on Saturday.

 

 Now Tunisia line up against Angola, while Morocco face Sierra Leone in the semifinal on Sunday, where the winners play for the gold medal and the Rio Olympic Games vacancy. The losers of semis will combat for the third place and bronze medals.

 

 Meanwhile, Rwanda play Ghana for the 5th and 6th places and Gambia meet Mozambique for the 7th and 8th positions.

 

The winners of the Men's Continental Cup will book a ticket to Rio Olympic Games, while the 2nd and 3rd will qualify for the World Cup, where they will have another chance to qualify to the Olympics with the other confederations.
