Egypt to represent Africa at Girls' U18 World champs as Madagascar claim silver

, Madagascar, August 21, 2016- Hosts Madagascar overwhelm Mauritius 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 27-25) in the third and final day of the 2016 Girls' U18 African Nations Championship held at Palais des Sports Mahamasina, Madagascar on Sunday.

 

 The win honoured the hosts with the silver medal of the competition, while Mauritius finished third in the 3- nation tournament.

 

 Early on Saturday Egypt captured their second win over Madagascar 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-13) in day 2 to keep the crown home for the 4th consecutive time.

 

 Now Egypt secured a ticket for the 2017 FIVB Girls' U18 World Championship to be hosted in Argentina.
