Tunisia crowned Boys' U19 African Champions

 Kelibia, Tunisia, September 10, 2016- Hosts Tunisia claimed the gold medal of the 2016 Boys' U19 African Nations Championship after they overwhelmed Egypt 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-22) in the final match held at Kelibia, Tunisia on Saturday.

 

 This is the eighth trophy for Tunisia in this age category against 4 for their arch rivals Egypt in 12 editions.  

 

 Morocco clinched the bronze medal after they upset Rwanda 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-20) in the third place decider.

 

 After the final match CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani honoured the Tunisian team with the cup and gold medals accompanied by CAVB vice president Mounir Benslimane.
