Douanes of Burkina attacking against Police of Botswana

 Tunis, Tunisia, March 18, 2017- Douanes of Burkina Faso overcame Police of Botswana 3-1 (25-17, 21-25, 25-22, 25-21) in Pool C of the 2017 Men's African Club Championship held at Taraji Hall in Tunis, Tunisia on Saturday.

 

 Douanes set their competition first win to improve their win- loss ratio to 1-1, while this was the first match for Botswana's police to become 0-1.

 

 Douanes' big gum Aziz Dera was the match star and best scorer with 29 points which is the best scoring performance in the competition so far, while Alec Engleton was the top scorer of Police side with 19 points.

 

 Douanes overwhelmed the first set to win 25-17, before Police regained the rhythm to draw 1-1. Again the Burkinabe team dominated the net to lead 2-1 before they decreased the point deficit gradually to win the tough fourth set and the match 3-1.
