Tunis, Tunisia, March 19, 2017- Bourj Bouaririj of Algeria confirmed a quarterfinal ticket after they upset Libya's Assarya 3-0 (25-22, 25-29, 25-22) in Pool C of Men's African Club Championship held at Taraji Hall in Tunis, Tunisia on Sunday.

 

 This is the third victory for the Algerians in three matches to say unbeaten in the 5 club pool and improve their record to 3-0. Assaraya dropped to 1-1 in 2 matches and still have a window to qualify to the quarterfinal. Outside hitter Bilal Soualem topped the scorers of the winners with 14 points, while Ali Alkuwafi led the match and Libyan scorers with 15 points.

 

 The Algerian team was better in all defensive skills specially blocking to dominate the action throughout the match.
