Tunis, Tunisia, March 23, 2017- Libya's Swehly qualified to the semifinal of the 2017 Men's African Club championship following their victory over compatriots Assarya 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-28) in the second quarterfinal at Taraji Hall in Tunis, Tunisia on Thursday.

 

 This is the second time in a row that showed the qualification of the Libyan team to the quarterfinal after the first last year when they finished in the 4th position.

 

 Swehly qualified to face the winner of the match between Esperance and Etoile du Sahel, While Assarya plays for the 5 to 8 positions against the loser.

 

 Zohair El Garaoui led the winners' scorers with 12 points while Ali Alkuwafi led the whole match scorers with 20 points for the losers.

 

 It was nothing  more than full dominance for Swehly using the talent combinations from the setter Abdelrahman Daghdanna using his powerful attackers in all positions.
