 Tunis, Tunisia, March 23, 2017- Alnahda of Sudan played a dramatic match to upset Douanes in grueling 5 set match 3-2 (27-19, 26-28, 26-24, 25-13, 15-13) in the quarterfinal 9 to 16 match of the 2017 Men's African Club Championship at Ben Arous Hall in Tunis, Tunisia on Thursday.

 

 Douanes used their tough blockers and strong backline defence to win the crucial points of the first and second sets to win both, before Nahda rebounded aggressively to win both the third and fourth sets and dominate the tiebreak also to win the match 3-2.

 

 Nahda now plays Bafia of Cameroon for the 9 to 12 places, while the losers play Espoir for the 13 to 16 positions.
