Ahly Beni Ghazi and Bafia to play for the top ranking positions at Men's club

2017 Men's African Club Championship- Play off 9 to 16 

 


 Tunis, Tunisia, March 24, 2017- Ahly Beni Ghazi (Libya), Bafia(Cameroon), Finances (Benin) and Espoir (DR Congo) won their corresponding matches in the play off 9 to 16 positions of the 2017 Men's African Club Championship in Ben Arous Hall in Tunis, Tunisia on Friday.

 

 In the play off 9 to 12 positions Ahly Beni Ghazi (Libya) upset University of Kibungo (Rwanda) 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-22) and Bafia (Cameroon) cruised past Alnahda (Sudan) 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-28).

 

 Now Ahly Beni Ghazi play Bafia for the 9th and 10th positions, while as Kibungo face Alnahda for the 11th and 12th places.

 

 In the play off 13 to 16 positions Finances (Benin) flew past their compatriots Police 3-2 (18-25, 17-25, 25-21, 29-27, 15-13) and Espoir (DR Congo) beat Douanes Burkina Faso 3-1 (29-27, 25-23, 16-25, 26-24).

 

 The winners Finances and Espoir for the 13 and 14 places leaving Police and Douanes to play for the last two positions.

Finances (Benin) v Police (Benin) 3-2 (18-25, 17-25, 25-21, 29-27, 15-13). More

Espoir (DR Congo) v Douanes Burkina Faso 3-1 (29-27, 25-23, 16-25, 26-24). More
