Hechem Kaabi spiking against double block of Assarya

Tunis, Tunisia, March 26, 2017- Organisers Esperance flew past Libya's Assarya in straight set (25-18, 25-13, 25-13) in the play off 5 to 8 positions at the 2017 Men's African Club championship at Taraji Hall in Tunis, Tunisia on Sunday.

 

 Now Esperance who was one of the heavy favourites will play for the 5th and 6th places against Kenya Prisons, while losers Assarya face Cameroon FAP for the 7th and 8th positions.

 

 Although they were upset after they lost in the quarterfinal, Esperance found it easy to win the three sets even when their coach Nizar Chekili played with the subsitiues.

 

 Outside hitter Elyes Karamosly led Esperance scorers with 13 points, while Ali Elkuwafi contributed only 6 points for the losers.
