Monastir, Tunisia, April 8, 2017- The 2017 Women’s African Club championship hosts Carthage had established themselves in a better position of advancing to the next round of the championship after beating INJS of Cameroun 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-22) in Pool A contest on Saturday.

Carthage improved to 2-0 as Injis dropped to 1-1.

The organisers produced a cutting-edge start with individual brilliance and great defensive display against the Cameroonians, winning the first set 25-11 forcefully.

INJS tried to capture some weight during the second set but Carthage stood firm in the blocks and produced some good spikes.

For all the hosts' imposing play, a warning was supplied from INJS in the third set closing it to 22 points; it prompted an instant response from Carthage’s technical side for calling a timeout and after they sailed on to wins the set at 25-22 and the Game ultimately.
