Monastir, Tunisia, April 9th 2017- Prisons came out firing from the first point and dominated their pool B tie against Bejaia after beaten them 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-21) in Pool C of 2017 Women's African Club Championship on Sunday.
In the first set Lowem Ann and Wavinya Yvonne ensured Prisons easily won with multiple kills each. Bejaia struggled with the pace and strength of attack and found it difficult to get the ball back, losing the 1st set 25-12.
Kenyans distributed the ball well and gave their hitters great opportunities for kills in the 2nd set. Prisons took the set 25-19.
Bejaia came back with better defense in the 3rd set, but it was not enough to overcome Prisons, finally losing the set 25-21. Mukuvilani Edith scored a great block out in this set and was overall top blocker with 10 kills for Prisons
