Marsa celebrate the win in play off

Monastir, Tunisia, April 13, 2017 – Marsa of Tunisia came from set down to record a 3-1 (17-25, 25-5, 25-15, 25-20) victory over Bafia of Cameroun in the positions 9-16 playoffs in Monastir, Tunisia, on Thursday.

 

There was not much between these two teams Marsa demonstrated top volleyball siding out on each point. Bafia was on spiking fire as they led 12-10. And with their composure and spirit they took the set 25-17 much to the dismay of the Marsa supporters. 

 

Bafia started the 2nd set with a series of quick point losses and they looked fairly glum at the first technical timeout, 8-1 down. Highlights of the next few points included a deliberate serve and counter-block combination, a spike that hit the back wall of the court area and defensive dives by both teams to save points. Bafia could not close the gap hugely to trail 20-3 and Marsa claim the set with a mega spike 25-5.

 

The crowd witnessed some of the best play in the match and they showed their appreciation to Marsa for the spirited comeback. The Tunisians again dominated to win the 3rd set 25-12. Bafia tried to come back in the fight and thy redouble their efforts to closed the gap but Marsa sealed it at 25-20 to win 3-1
