ARSU surprised Bejaia

Monastir, Tunisia, April 14th 2017- ARSU from Seychelles recorded a 3-1(15-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-23) triumph against experienced Bejaia of Algeria in playoff for position 13-16 at Women's African Club championship at Hellal Hall in Monastir, Tunisia on Friday.
The win gave ARSU a great redemption in the championship against a side so powerful in the early days of the competition. Bejaia to their credit started well and were off to winning ways in the first set but this determined ARSU side reaffirmed their status to outdone the Algerians.
Apart from the first set seeing a big gap, the following sets were tightly contested but all in ARSU's favour. The 3rd set was closely battled with impressive rallies and attacks. Level a 24all, one must lead by 2 points a ARSU took the advantage to advance.
Another well fought 4th set followed, both teams wanting to win but the side from Indian Ocean in Southern Africa nail it down to 25-23.
