Monastir, Tunisia ; April 14, 2017- Army of Rwanda egde passed Ndejje of Uganda in a 3-1 (25-21, 15-25, 25-21 ; 25-19) victory on Friday at Ksar Hellal.
Ndejje went long and Army looked like they were enjoying themselves as the points racked up 8-2. They spiked for the kill and applied pressure with serve. Ndejje couldn’t seem to do anything right and repeated hitting errors meant they trailed 16-8 at the second technical timeout. Ndejje looked beat as Army romped home to a 25-21 set win again.
Army came back with a good block to get off to a good start in the 2nd set. Army shut CHN down with a monster block spiked to give themselves a 8-4 lead.
It didn’t look like there was any way for Ndejje to come back. And Army completely dominated to take the set 25-15.
Ndejje came back to the 3rd set wanting to level and they get a set 25-21 but Army stood firm in the blocks to win the game 3-1
