Monastir, Tunisia, April 15, 2017- Algeria's Bejaia took over Cameroon's Bafia 3-0(25-10, 25-22, 25-17) in the ranking match for position 15 and 16 held in Monastir, Tunisia on Saturday.

 

The Algerians dominates from the first set to the final one with impressive volleys and digs even though one of their player sustained an injury. Bejaia who once proved to be a strong team in this championship lost the redeem from the onset and since them could not bounce back to make difference.

 

The first set was a one way traffic for the Algerians winning it 25-10. It was much closer in the beginning of the 2nd set. Bejaia came out narrowly on top, 8-6. Bafia spiked and then served an ace to draw level at 11. Bejaia pulled ahead 16-11. A good fighting spirit showed Bejaia won 25-22.

 

Bafia wanted to come back at the early stages of the third set but the denfese and attacks from Bejaia overcame the opponents and Bejaia set out a 25-17 led to win 3-0
