Kenya and Egypt through to World Championship's final qualifiers

Nairobi, Kenya, July 31, 2017- Kenya Women's volleyball team won zone 5 qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB World Championship after their victory over giants Egypt 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-17) in the third andfinal day of the 4 Nation qualifying tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya this weekend.

 

 

 

 Kenya led the tournament with a win loss ratio of 3-0 followed by Egypt 2-1 as both teams continued their way to the qualification finalto be held jointly with the African Nations Championship in Cameroon in October 2017.

 

 In a match marking the third place in the tournament Uganda cruised past Rwanda 3-2 (23-25, 19-25, 25-16. 25-23, 15-9).
