 Yaounde, Cameroon, October 7, 2017- Kenya collected the experience to easily see off Nigeria in straight sets (25-16, 25-8, 25-10) in Pool B match in the 2017 Women's African Nations Championship day 1 at Palais des Sports in Yaounde, Cameroon on Saturday.


 The Kenyan fielded his experienced players like Janet Wanja and Brackcides Khadambi to put a pressure upon the Nigerians from the start. The Nigerian team started competitive in the first set before the Kenyans dominated the net action completely and went through the 3-0 win.  


 Middle blocker Khadambi led the match scorers with 8 points; while Nigeria's Priscilla Agera led her team scoring only 4 points.
