 Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 7, 2017- Aided by a full house of excited spectators, Cameroon started their 2017 Women's African Nations championship in the right way after they hauled Botswana 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-17) in Pool A match at Palais des Sports in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Saturday.  

 

 Cameroon succeeded to start the match aggressively using their efficient blockers to stop the opponent's attacks giving them a relatively narrow lead throughout the first set.

 

 The hosts widely dominated the second and third sets when they used the strong attackers from positions 2 and 4.

 

 Middle blocker Stephanie Fotso led the winners with 11 points including 6 kill blocks while Jostinah Moyo led the losers with only 5.
