Kenya blockers played a great role in the victory

Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 9, 2017- Kenya continued their winning rhythm achieving the third victory in a row against RD Congo 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-12) in day 3 of the 2017 Women's African Nations Championship at Palais des Sports Hall in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Monday.

 

 Now Kenya secured a semifinal ticket with an absolute record of 3-0, while RD Congo dropped to 0-2 in 2 matches played.

 

 Efficient middle blocker Wisah Mukuvulani came as the match scorer with 13 points followed by Trizah Atuka 12, while Margot Mutshima contributed 8 points as the best scorer from the losers.

 

 The Kenyan team dominated the match using their spike service of most of the players as well as using the centers as strong attackers from the middle of the net, while the RDC team suffered from bad reception and backline defence.
