Senegal blocker stopped the way against the Tunisians

Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 9, 2017- Senegal electrified the fans with a surprise victory against Tunisia 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 18-25, 25-22) in 101 minutes of exciting encounter in Pool B of the 2017 Women's African Nations Championship at Palais des Sports Hall in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Monday.

 

 The victory improved Senegal's win- loss ratio to 2-1, while Tunisia dropped to 1-1 in 2 matches.

 

 Captain and big gum Fatou Diouck led the winner's scorers with 18 points equal to her colleague Sow Binetou, while Tunisia's outside hitter Rahma Agrebi led her team with 16 points.

 

 Senegal went to 2-0 after fantastic performance in blocking and attacking through the wing spikers, before Tunisia rebounded in the third set using their tough service to narrow the score to 2-1. Again Senegal fought aggressively to win the fourth set and the match 3-1.
