Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 9, 2017- Cameroon fought back after a good start to defeat Algeria 3-1(25-20, 25-9, 17-25, 25-10) in Pool A of the 2017 Women's African Nations Championship at Palais des Sports Hall in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Monday.


 outside hitter Moma Bassoko led the hosts scorers with 14 points, while the algerian attacker Marwa Achour led the match scorers as a whole with impressive 16 points.


 What made the difference in the game was the great dominance for Cameroon in areas of blocking making a huge deficit 16-4 in successful kill blocks.


 After Cameroon easily led 2-0, Algeria struggled back to claim the third set after a great comeback. Cameroon rebounded to win again widely the fourth set.
