Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 11, 2017- Senegal booked the last ticket to the semifinal of the 2017 Women's African nations Championship after they claimed a straight sets victory (25-23, 25-20, 25-20) over Nigeria in Day 5 of the competition at Palais des Sport in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Wednesday.


 The Senegalese were in blocking and spiking from all positions to make the difference in the crucial time of each set.


 The efficient opposite attacker Fatou Diouck played a great role in the victory not only through her 17 points scored, but also through her leadership to the team and the spirit she send to her colleagues.  


 Nigeria's opposite Esther Dusu was the scorer for the losers with 12 points.
