Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 11, 2017- Cameroon stayed unbeaten at the 2017 Women's African Nations Championship as they overwhelm Egypt 3-1 (20-25, 30-28, 25-17, 25-18) in grueling encounter that made the spectators on their toes for 2 hours.


 Cameroon improved their win- loss ratio to 3-0, while Egypt dropped to 2-1 to finish second of Pool A. Both teams already booked their tickets to the semifinal.


 Cameroon's big gum Moma Bassoko led the match scorers with 25 points including most of the crucial points of each set followed by Nana Tchoudjang 19. Egypt's opposite attacker Aya Elshamy led the Egyptians with 21 points.


 Egypt led the first set and some of the second using their service and the frequent reception mistakes of Cameroon team, but later Cameroon maintained their pressure using their better physical fitness to win narrowly the second set before dominating completely the third and fourth sets.
