Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 14, 2017- Tunisia concluded their campaign at the 2017 Women's African Nations Championship in the 5th place after they cruised past their neighbours Algeria 3-1 (25-13, 25-21, 23-25, 25-16) in the ranking match for 5th and 6th positions at Palais des Sports Hall in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Saturday.

 

 Algeria concluded in the 6th position, same like the last edition in Kenya 2015.

 

 Tunisia's opposite spiker Mariem Brik led the Tunisian scorers with 19 crucial points that helped her team to win the match. Algeria promising star Yasmine Abderrahim led the losers and match scorers with 26 points.

 

 After Tunisia went easily to 2-0 lead with superiority in all skills, Algeria came back in the third set with the emerging Abderrhim to win the third set. Tunisia again regained rhythm in the fourth set to finish the match 3-1.
