 Cairo, Egypt, October 25, 2017- Cameroon cruised past Nigeria 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-19) in their postponed match from Day 1 of the 2017 Men's African Nations Championship at Cairo Stadium Complex in Egypt on Tuesday.


 The match was postponed by the Organising Committee due to the late arrival of the Nigerians due to flight problems.


Cameroon finished Pool C matches in the top with a win- loss ratio of 2-0 ahead of Morocco who came second with 1-1, and both teams confirmed quarterfinal tickets. Nigeria finished third with 0-2 to play for the 9 to 14 positions.


 Nigeria was the better side in the first set as they led frequently till Cameroon saved the set point and win narrowly 26-24.


 The Lions dominated completely the second and third sets thereafter to win the match in straight sets.
