Egypt upset Cameroon to clinch a World championship ticket

 Cairo, Egypt, October 27, 2017- Egypt became the second team to qualify to the 2018 FIVB World championship after they dismiss the Solid Cameroon team 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-23) in the semifinal of the 2017 Men's African Nations Championship at Cairo Stadium Complex in Egypt on Friday.

 

 Egypt qualified to the final of the African championship to combat Tunisia on Sunday to determine the African champions, while Cameroon face Algeria in the Bronze match.

 

 Egypt put a great pressure throughout the match by their spike service and succeeded to stop the strong Cameroon attackers through the solid block of the block of Mohamed Adel and Abdelhalim Ebo.

 

 The first set was the toughest in the match as the Egyptian team saved two set points to win 26-24 before they continued the same rhythm to win the second and third sets.
