 Cairo, Egypt, October 29, 2017- Cameroon clinched the third African ticket at the 2018 World Championship after they captured the Bronze medal at the 2017 Men's African nations championship.


 Cameroon beat Algeria 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 27-25) in the third place match after a thrilling encounter that made the spectators on their toes for about two hours.


 Algeria dominated the first set to lead 1-0 using their combinations led by the setter Amir Kerboua, but later Cameroon rebounded to win three consecutive sets and capture the bronze medal.


Rwanda came back on time to beat Libya 3-2 (25-19, 25-18, 12-25, 24-26, 15-13) in the ply off 5 to 8 places in the 2017 Men's African Nations Championship at Cairo Stadium Complex in Egypt on Sunday.
