 Kinshasa, RDC, November 28, 2017- The promotion of African Club Championship was discussed during African Volleyball Confederation "CAVB" Board meeting in Kinshasa, Congo DR on Tuesday, one day ahead of the CAVB Congress.


 CAVB Development Commission President Mr Tubby Reddy discussed the proposals made by the Commission on October 2017 to promote the Club Championships, which made a wonderful attraction of average 20 to 24 clubs every year.


 He pointed out that the commission proposed another club championship than the current one named the President's Cup to be played with the participation of the top clubs in the continent. The top two teams of both African championships will battle it out for a sponsored Super Cup between 4 giants to be a third event for the clubs.


 Another Afro- Asian Club Championship was proposed between the top teams in Africa and Asia, which will be also sponsored by the major TV Channels in the Middle East.
